After the success and popularity of the first four years' events, Alpine Lofts now proudly presents details of the event to be staged in 2010 … !
- Open to all lofts from Ireland and Great Britain
- €125 entry fee
- €25 deposit payable, balance of €100 payable ONLY in the week leading up to the race, at your discretion
- Race entry forms and deposits to be received by 31st March 2010
- Entries accepted and processed on a first-come-first-served basis
- Cash prizes paid in the Main Race as follows
- 1st = €TBA
- 2nd = €TBA
- 3rd = €TBA
- Training starts mid-June
- Regular training tosses, up to 50 miles
- Unikon timing system used to monitor pigeons’ progress
- Prize Race
- Race will be from Mauchline on 5th September 2010
- Date to be confirmed but likely to be in the 1st or 2nd week of August
- Convoyed by the Eire National Flying Club
- One-Loft race pools may be run
