PBO Solutions confirm (or otherwise) to applicants that sufficient entries have been received to make the race viable. Cheques will be banked at this point, or returned.

“Gold Rings” ordered from British Barcelona Club

9^th March

“Gold Rings” dispatched to participants

11^th – 31^st March

Participants should be “ringing” their entries

17^th – 30^th April

Nominated and reserve pigeons to be sent to the race lofts with printed pedigrees. Before sending pigeons please liaise with Race Promoter and/or Loft Manager.

1^st May – 30^th May

All pigeons to be loft bound with access to aviaries

31^st May

All pigeons vaccinated against Paramyxovirus

1^st June

Total Prize Fund (entry fees less anticipated race management expenses) to be lodged with the RPRA

1^st June – 30^th June

Pigeons given free-to-air access around race lofts

1^st July

Training commences with short distance tosses quickly building up to 20-30 mile tosses

1^st August

Twice weekly 50-mile tosses are introduced to the training program

Late August

One longer, hopefully cross-channel, training “race”. Details TBA.

1^st September

All remaining unactivated reserve pigeons become available to “purchase”

3^rd September

Activation of reserve pigeons completed
Members to advise and pay any BBC pools required

4^th September

Post entries for BBC Lamballe, including all pools required

7^th September

Payments for newly activated reserve pigeons must be received

9^th September

Race marking for the BBC Lamballe race in Salisbury

11^th September

Prize race from Lamballe with the British Barcelona Club
