The continuous loft recorder is an important piece of equipment for the long distance lofts whose pigeons face two day race challenges, as when the iPigeon itself is being struck off at the end of Day 1, the continuous loft recorder will record additional arrivals whilst you are away from the Loft. In this way, no arrivals are missed.

If you are awaiting additional pigeons that you want read off and included in a result then it’s important that when you are away at the club that the race is not closed, it must remain open to enable further arrivals (ask your Clocks Team to press ARRIVE button and this will generate a Race-In-Progress report).

The Loft Recorder connects to the first pad (rather than the Timer connecting directly to the first pad), and the Timer then connects to the Loft Recorder with the min-DIN cable supplied with the Loft Recorder. You must change the CONNECTOR setting in the COMMUNICATIONS settings to CHANNEL 1.

If you are using the Loft Recorder to run two Clocks in the loft you’ll need to purchase an additional mini-DIN cable, You must change the CONNECTOR setting in the COMMUNICATIONS settings to CHANNEL 2.
